How to Make Healthy Broccoli Salad
Shh… Don’t tell anyone how easy this recipe is to make!
Quickly chop the fresh broccoli into bite sized pieces. Personally, I cut off the broccoli trees and then do a course chop. That is about the perfect size.
Add all of the ingredients into one bowl.
Mix well. Stir again to make sure everything is well mixed.
The broccoli salad tastes better when chilled for at least 15 minutes.
There are plenty of ways you can modify this recipe. Some options include:
- Use sunflower seeds or pecans for the walnuts
- Use raisins for the dried cranberries
- Add chopped red onions
- Add halved grapes
Typically, the variations are helpful when you run out of an ingredient unexpectedly.
